Puzzle #298 · March 26, 2026
A Valley Girl is a 1980s cultural stereotype of an affluent, fashion-conscious teenage girl from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. The musician Frank Zappa satirized Valley Girl culture in 1982, inspired and led by his daughter Moon Unit Zappa the song brought “bitchen”, “grody”, “gag me with a spoon” and heavy use of the word “like” to mainstream American culture.
