Is it drywall or sheetrock?

Drywall is the generic term for a construction material used in most homes in the US and new contruction in Europe. Drywall is gypsum plaster pressed between paper layers. Drywall makes construction of walls easy and is fire-resistant.

A common U.S. brand, Sheetrock, is often used as a generic term along with plasterboard.
